As the afternoon fades, at the height of the rutting season, the hills can fill with the roar of red deer stags. Experience sunset and night in the park in an electric Citroën Ami, silently and without disturbing the wildlife.

One of nature’s most impressive shows
Every autumn, red deer stags go into rut and fill the hills with their roaring to mark their territory and attract the hinds. This is the “berrea”, and in Los Alcornocales it is a very special experience.
We set off late in the afternoon towards San Carlos del Tiradero. As the sun goes down the forest changes: the light turns golden, the temperature drops and, if the deer are active, the first roars may start to be heard.
Each couple drives a Citroën Ami, a silent 100% electric two-seater, following the guide. It is very easy: the route is done by vehicle, getting out at the stops, and where possible anyone who prefers can stay in the car.

The rut is a natural phenomenon that depends on the season and the conditions of each day: we cannot guarantee that you will see the deer or hear the rut.

On this tour we play the audio on a speaker for the whole group at each stop. You don’t need a phone or headphones. Audio available in English, Spanish, French and German.
Tapas picnic at the bread oven
The tapas picnic is optional and booked separately: ask us on WhatsApp before booking and we will confirm whether it is available on your date, the price and the details.
If you don’t book the picnic, we recommend bringing some snacks: during the tour we stop at the bread oven for a bite to eat.

Requirements
- To drive: at least 18 years old with a valid category B licence
- Bringing children? Ask us before booking

- Pets only with prior approval: the dog travels in a carrier and takes up one seat

Cancellation at least 12 hours in advance: full refund. Less than 12 hours: free date change (once, subject to availability) or a refund minus a €10 penalty per car. If we cancel because of the weather, you choose a full refund or a date change. See the terms
Where we meet
Opposite Hotel Montera Plaza
Avenida Padre Juan José, 1 · 11370 Los Barrios (Cádiz). This is our usual meeting point.
From there we drive together to a nearby plot, where you leave your car and pick up your Citroën Ami. The tour departs at 18:00; we confirm the meeting time on WhatsApp when you book.
