Tour features and terms of sale

1. Prices, booking and payment

• The current price of regular tours is €50 per person, taxes included (€100 per vehicle with two occupants).
• If you wish to come on your own, please check the conditions and availability with us on WhatsApp first.
• Groups, private outings and services for hotels or organisations are quoted individually on WhatsApp. There are no automatic discounts for children or groups.
• Times: San Carlos del Tiradero departs at 9:00 and returns at about 14:00; the Deer Rut Tour and the Night Tour depart at 18:00 and return between about 22:30 and 23:00. There are no fixed days of the week: please ask us on WhatsApp about upcoming dates and availability. The meeting time is earlier than the departure time and is confirmed when you book.
• The Deer Rut Tour depends on the season and natural conditions. Seeing deer or hearing the rut is not guaranteed.
• Booking process: (1) the customer contacts us on WhatsApp; (2) we confirm the date, availability and places; (3) we enable or provide the payment for the booking. The payment page shows the amount to be paid.
• Payment is made securely by credit or debit card. You will receive confirmation by email.
• Anyone booking on behalf of other people accepts these terms on behalf of all of them.

2. Cancellations and changes

• Cancellation at least 12 hours before the departure time: full refund of the amount paid.
• Cancellation less than 12 hours before: we offer a free date change, once and subject to availability.
• If you cancel less than 12 hours before and prefer a refund, a penalty of €10 per car and per booked departure applies, and we refund the rest of the amount paid.
• If you do not show up without notice, a penalty of €10 per car and per booked departure applies, and we refund the rest of the amount paid.
• If we cancel because of the weather, you choose between a full refund or a free date change.
• Pégate un Voltio may also change the route or cancel the tour for safety or conservation reasons: fires or high fire risk, hunting activity, closure of forest tracks or compliance with regulations. In that case you can choose another date or a full refund of the amount paid.
• If any participant does not meet the necessary conditions or does not present the required documents, the company may cancel, change or delay the start of the activity.
• These cancellation terms apply to bookings made from 23 October 2026 whose customers have received and accepted them. Earlier bookings keep the terms accepted at the time. All of the above is without prejudice to the rights granted to the customer by current legislation.

3. Before the tour

• The usual meeting point is opposite Hotel Montera Plaza, in Los Barrios. From there we drive to a plot where participants leave their own vehicles and pick up the Citroën Amis.
• The route runs through a natural area with no mobile coverage. You must follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
• The audio guides are available in English, Spanish, French and German. On San Carlos del Tiradero we provide phones and headphones; on the Deer Rut Tour and the Night Tour the audio is played on a speaker for the group.
• There are no public toilets along the route: we recommend going before setting off.
• Food is not included. You may bring non-alcoholic drinks and a snack; the vehicles have space for them.

4. Driving and documents

• Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid category B driving licence. The driver is responsible for complying with traffic rules.
• Before starting, the driver will hand their driving licence to the guide and allow a photo to be taken of it. All participants must carry an identity document or passport.
• Before departure, the customer must read, accept and sign these terms.
• The maximum speed is 30 km/h, and 20 km/h on many sections. No vehicle may overtake the guide, who always leads. The tours are never a race.
• Vehicle specifications (make, model or engine) may change without notice.

5. Rules during the tour

We enter a protected area with a special permit: an Andalusian Natural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and a European Union Special Area of Conservation. For this reason it is strictly forbidden to:

• Skid, rev the engine or overtake.
• Put hands, arms or phones outside the moving vehicle.
• Use the horn without reason: silence must be respected and wildlife must not be disturbed.
• Fall behind or leave the tracks.
• Throw away litter or cigarette ends. Waste is kept in the vehicle until the end of the tour.
• Drink alcohol before or during the tour. Alcohol and drug checks are the driver’s responsibility.
• Smoke in the vehicles. The guide will indicate where it is safe to smoke without fire risk.
• Cut branches, collect plants, minerals, fossils, animals or fungi, light fires or climb on rock formations.

It is also compulsory to:

• Keep a safe distance between vehicles.
• Wear your seat belt at all times.
• Stay focused on driving: we will make enough stops to enjoy the surroundings.
• Respect the guide, follow their instructions and use the equipment properly.
• Always give way to cyclists and walkers, and let other vehicles pass on forest tracks.

6. Pets

Pets are not accepted generally or automatically: you must ask before booking. If their participation is accepted, the dog must travel in a carrier and takes up one seat in the vehicle. Availability, conditions and price are confirmed before booking. In the park, pets must always be on a lead and their owners are responsible for their care, for picking up their droppings and for any damage they cause. The peace of the wildlife always takes priority over the tour.

7. Children, accessibility, health and responsibility

• If you are travelling with children, please check the conditions before booking. The Night Tour is recommended for ages 14 and over because of the content of the horror stories.
• The difficulty is very low: the route is mainly done by vehicle, getting out at the stops, and walking is not a main part of the activity. Where possible, a person may stay in the vehicle during a stop.
• If any participant has reduced mobility, a disability or any specific need, please contact us before booking so we can assess whether the tour is suitable.
• Participants must be in good enough health for the activity. If you have back or neck injuries, or difficulty getting in and out of the vehicle, please let us know before booking.
• The customer is responsible for their behaviour, for the use of the vehicle and the equipment provided, and for damage caused by misuse, carelessness or recklessness.
• The customer is responsible for their belongings and their own vehicle, which they leave parked at their own risk during the tour.
• Leaving the tour before it ends is not possible except in case of force majeure. In that case, the guide or a company representative will accompany the person back to the starting point, with no right to a refund or to repeat the tour.

8. Insurance

PEGATE UN VOLTIO SL holds the civil liability and accident insurance policies required by the sector’s regulations, included in the price. Cover starts when the activity begins and ends when it finishes, and does not include travel to the starting point. Information on the cover is available to customers.
