Campo de Gibraltar
Two seas, two continents and one of the largest cork oak forests in Europe. Discover it on a guided electric buggy tour, in silence and with no fumes.
A privileged corner of southern Europe
The Campo de Gibraltar, at the southern tip of the province of Cádiz and facing the Strait of Gibraltar, is the southernmost area of the Iberian Peninsula. It is made up of eight towns: Algeciras, Los Barrios, Castellar de la Frontera, Jimena de la Frontera, La Línea de la Concepción, San Roque, San Martín del Tesorillo and Tarifa.
Few places offer so much in so little space. Here the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, and from the hills you can see the coast of Africa. The Rock of Gibraltar, the beaches of Tarifa, the Bay of Algeciras and the white villages of the hills make up a unique landscape.
And inland, just a few minutes from the coast, begins a forest that surprises everyone who visits it.

The towns of the Campo de Gibraltar
Algeciras
The largest town in the area, with one of the most important ports in Europe and views over the bay.
La Línea and Gibraltar
At the foot of the Rock, with beaches on both seas and the border with Gibraltar just a step away.
San Roque and Sotogrande
A historic centre on top of a hill, a marina, golf and quiet beaches.
Los Barrios
The gateway to Los Alcornocales Natural Park and the starting point of our tours.
Tarifa
The southernmost point of continental Europe: wind, kitesurfing, wild beaches and Africa just across the water.
Castellar and Jimena
White villages with castles in the heart of the hills, surrounded by cork oak forest and rivers.
San Martín del Tesorillo
The youngest town in the area, in the Guadiaro river valley, among orchards and orange groves.
Los Alcornocales Natural Park
Covering around 170,000 hectares, Los Alcornocales is the largest cork oak forest in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most important in the world. It stretches from Tarifa to the Sierra de Grazalema and covers a large part of the Campo de Gibraltar.
Its southern part hides the canutos, narrow, humid valleys where laurel forests, ferns and species from another era survive. Red deer, roe deer and birds of prey live in the hills, and every autumn the deer put on the spectacle of the rut.
Nearby, the Strait Natural Park completes the coastal landscape, on one of the most important migratory bird routes in the world.
